Commanders Left Hand Up!

Take Command

Welcome, Commander fans, to BurgunTee.com where we celebrate our fandom for our beloved franchise. Whether a Redskin Fan, Football Team Junkie or a CoFANder, we all bleed Burgundy and Gold.

Oh Goody & Big57 with WUSA9 “Left Hand Up”

We’ve always celebrated the Hogs, the majestic icon of our Warrior head. Though with the changing times, regardless of how we feel our passion wanes from a new team identity, we all still want to devote our passion towards the team on the field. Our future may look brighter with some Rap and Prime ownership possibilities so there’s hope. But the great hope lies between the numbers.

It’s December and the Commanders are playing meaningful football. Not just meaningful, but important and of huge implications to the entire NFL playoff picture in the NFC. Sunday night, big lights, against the New York Football Giants. We control our destiny and that of a half dozen teams for the playoff push.

So what do we do? We raised our Left Hand Up and show our support. Sure, the old fight song hasn’t translated well into the new identity. But from nowhere. Actually from somewhere significant, the DMV, arose a new unofficial Anthem this summer. “Left Hand Up, who are we? The Commanders!” No haters here. If you’re here, then you’re part of our MOBB, yearning to get a chip. One that we haven’t seen in 30+ years. Some of us were young and celebrating a dynasty. Some of you weren’t even born. Despair throughout your fandom has been tradition.

So let’s break that tradition and start a revolution! As Left Hand Up is quickly becoming our Official Anthem. Oh Goody and Big57 awoke the DMV and began the celebration of hope in August. Now they’ve made appearances all over the DMV, to hype our team and fans. They’ve made visits to famed YouTube creators like Rio Robinson and his Rambling with Rio podcast. And more news worthy broadcasts like singing on NBC Sports Washington and B Mitch and Finley, on radio and online broadcasts. They also appeared on tv on our local WUSA9. Even ESPN Sportcenter and analysts have used the salute “Left Hand Up!” during their broadcasts of our games.

Clearly, we’re beginning the new chapter of the Commanders on an upward trajectory. Let’s keep the momentum, cheer with the same energy now, with success. Stand up and be heard! Who are we?…..
